Christy Moore's second album was an indication of what was to come shortly afterwards with the formation of one of Ireland's most successful supergroups Planxty. Gathered on the steps outside the Prosperous house in the village of the same name in County Kildare, the four future members of the band, Andy Irvine, Liam Óg O'Flynn, Dónal Lunny and a totally relaxed looking Christy Moore posed for the cover shot, along with Kevin Conneff (later of The Chieftains). The LP was recorded by Bill Leader 1971 as a solo album under Moore's name but it soon became apparent that the core Prosperous musicians made a band that could potentially enjoy a successful career well into the Seventies. One or two of the songs from this album were included in the Planxty repertoire including the Raggle Taggle Gypsy and Cliffs of Dooneen.
